Vacation Bible School:  (June 3 ~ sign up now)
Anchor your kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through every storm in life with this year’s “Shipwrecked” Vacation Bible School.  All kids from age 4 to fifth grade are invited to participate.  This year’s VBS will be held from Sunday, June 3 through Thursday, June 7 from 6:00-8:30 pm.  This five-day experience helps kids discover that they are rescued by Jesus.  This adventure is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that kids see, hear and touch!  Bible Point crafts, team-building games and cool Bible songs are just a few of the activities that help faith come alive into everyday life.  Please fill out a form and turn it in to the church office.
We are asking kids in sixth grade and higher to help out with this year’s VBS as assistant crew leaders, station helpers and with other tasks.  We also need plenty of adults to help out with this year’s adventure.  Please contact Bobbi Hestdalen or Pastor Chris for more information.

Sunday School Memory Work:
The following note was sent home with all Sunday School children on Sept 17:
Dear Parents of Sunday School Children:  We would like to encourage talking about God’s word at home.  To help facilitate this, each grade has been given memory work.  Please take some time during the week to work with your child(ren) on their memory work.  We would like each child to be able to have all of it completed by the end of the year.

In case your child’s memory work sheet has been misplaced, just click on the appropriate link to access it:

Sunday School:  (began Sept 10, 2017)
BSLC offers a Sunday School program for children ages 3 and up during the school year (Sept – May).  Sunday School meets from 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday mornings (conveniently scheduled between our two Worship Services).  If you have a child age 3 and up, sign them up for Sunday School (the form is located under the “Resources / Forms” tab of this website) or just show up on Sunday morning.  If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

PS – If you would like to help our Sunday School program in any way
(ie: teaching, substitute teaching, being that extra set of hands in a classroom, helping with attendance, etc), please contact the church office or stop in the office Sunday morning during Sunday School.  We can always use a spare pair of hands!
